Q:How can I power up this camera?
A:Hello,You can connect this camera to a PoE NVR, PoE injector, PoE switch, or directly to a router with PoE function with the Ethernet cable for ย ย ย both power supply and video signal transmission.Or you can power it up with a DC 12V power adapter. Please note in this way, you still need ย ย ย the Ethernet cable to transmit data.
Q:What type of Ethernet cable do I need?
A:Hello,This camera supports CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, CAT7 with 8 PIN Ethernet cables.
The maximum length the camera supported is 80 meters (about 262 feet).
Q:Can I use this camera with a different brand of NVR?
A:Hello,It is not recommended to do that due to compatibility issues.
Q:How to start using the camera First time ?
A:Hello, Setting up the camera was amazingly easy to do and where it was POE it plugged and played nicely with my software on my server for ย ย ย ย the camera. Connecting it to the App with the QR code was also a snap. Everything was setup and running within about 10 minutes of starting.

A:Yes, RLC-811A can work independently without NVR. If you need Recording ,there's several options– SD card , FTP.
Q:is it onvif compatible ?
A:Yes ,it compatible ,you can add it to some third party software like Blue Iris.For the best user experience, we recommend you use it with Reolink PoE NVR. Since different NVR suppliers may use different protocols, it may cause some compatibility problems .
